Still Busy Busy

Hi. Hello.
Still busy. Always busy.
Which is good. Mostly.

Saturday I got all dressed up to go to a Halloween dance but didn't get to go. Instead I went hot tubbing with Jon and Stefano and Kyle. Love them.
Sunday my friend Bennett had his farewell. He is leaving to serve a mission for his church for two years! It was so nice to see a bunch of old friends. I miss friends from high school sometimes.
Monday was long and began early. I spent all day at a UDOT conference.
We had to leave the conference early to go the Lehi Main Street Ribbon cutting! My biggest and favorite project was ending. The mayor gave a little speech about Main Street and gave two different shout outs to me!

He said what a good job I did as well as that I was beautiful and he wanted to auction off a date with me, but he would be jealous of whoever got it. It was embarrassing in the best way.

After that I had to get ready for my Halloween activity. It was a lot of preparation, but it went really well. We carved pumpkins, decorated cookies, "donut on a string", and rootbeer with dry ice.
I carved a Utah State pumpkins and ran the entire activity. I met a cute boy named Alex who is also going to Utah State in January!
As he was leaving he asked me what I was doing next Friday.. Unfortunately, (well not unfortunately) I will be on the East Coast with my grandma!

Thursday I am going up to Logan until Monday morning. Monday morning I catch a shuttle at 5:30 to the Salt Lake City Airport. At 8:30 my flight leaves for Boston! I can't wait!

Busy Busy

Sorry I have been missing for the last few days. My life is crazy.. In a good way. But still crazy.

Wednesday was spent driving all day long to get to New Mexico, where I was doing a workshop with my mom. It was a long drive.. 7 hours. We finally got to Farmington, New Mexico and got food to go and hit the hot tub. Thursday morning began early with the workshop. It went well. I felt like I really helped a lot. We drove home straight after the workshop and stopped in Price for dinner. We went to this great little drive in called Sherald's. Mm it was delicious! We got home around 9, and I had approximately 12 hours home until my next trip. The next trip was a "Girl's Trip" to Cedar City to see the play "Les Miserables", one of the best plays ever. I was a little hesitant before we left, but it was fun. We a delicious Hawaiian dinner and sat in the hot tub for a couple hours. Tomorrow (Saturday) morning we will drive the 4.5 hours back.. Awesome.

We're Here for RSL

Here is something you probably don't know about me... I love soccer. More specifically, I love my Real Salt Lake soccer team. A LOT.

I go to as many games as I can and cheer loud and even have a worn Real player's jersey!
I've even been hit in the boob with a soccer ball by one of the players! (How many people can say that?!) (Really, its funny though.. I should post a link to the video)

Anyways, Tuesday was a Real Game. Not just any Real Game, but the play-off game to the Concacaf league. Unfortunately for us, the weather didn't cooperate with our game schedule.. It rained the entire game and was so cold. On the bright side, Aaron came and bought me a hot chocolate and we held hands oh-so-secretly under the blanket... Cute, right? ;)

We lost. :( We made two goals (what we needed to win) but the refs were stupid and didn't count them. We still had a good time though. And Aaron retweeted the picture of us at the game.. No big deal.. :)

I REALLY love Logan

I really do love it here. (I don't know if you could tell)

I am on the shuttle going back and I am not quite ready to leave yet. Its been a good weekend. Luckily I am coming back soon! (2 weeks)

Saturday night was fun. Random, but fun. We met up with Cameron (one of the boys from Friday) and went a corn maze. It was a long maze! And, because it was a weekend they had people hidden in the corn maze including: guys with chain saws, clowns, scarecrows that would jump off their perch, various people in animal costumes, and more guys with chain saws.
Halfway through they gave you a map to help you figure out where you were going which helped a lot.
After the corn maze we went to Jared's house so I could say hi and give him his Birthday present (a bag of candy rocks). We talked for a long time. It was nice.
We stopped by a 7-11 on the way back to Brooke's for a really random couple of things. These things included: slurpees, chips, bagel bites, mozzarella sticks and more.
Then after a couple episodes on Netflix we crashed. :)

Sunday was supposed to be a relaxing day. It wasn't.
We got invited to go up to Tony's Grove on motorcycles with Cameron and his friend Chad. Who could say no to that?? It was a blast.
I rode on the back of Chad's bullet bike and Brooke rode on the back of Cameron's bike. Chad and I went fast. Very fast. Especially fast for the canyon. We got up to 135-140 mph. Yeah. Crazy.

We hung out at the lake at Tony's Grove and skipped rocks. When we went to go back to Logan Chad had left the bike on! Luckily Cameron gave him a push and Chad jump started it.

When we got back to Logan Chad said his ward was having a "linger longer" with pizza. Free pizza. Oh man. So we went to his ward.. In our jeans and motorcycle hair. It was.. Weird. Awkward. And slightly hilarious.
The best part was when Chad went to get my number. He started typing it in and realized he already had it saved.. As 'Megan-Last Night'. How awful does that sound?? And we realized this during the linger longer and got pretty immature about it.
It was a good time.

Then I caught the shuttle to Salt Lake. I missed Logan already! But luckily I am headed back soon!!

P.S. I got so much crap from everyone about riding that fast. Especially from my dad. He was annoying.

I Love Logan (Utah)

I love it here.
I love the people.
I love the town.
I love the school.
I love the games.
I love the school pride.

Last night Brooke and I made the drive to Logan. We went to City Creek with the family and had dinner. I bought a new pair of vans.

We went to the Utah State hockey game with Jared and it was a blast!! We beat Arizona State 2-0. With about three minutes left in the game all hell broke loose. There were so many fights!! Every time the ref would break one up another one would start. It was so awesome. All the fans were on their feet yelling and cheering. By the end of the 5 minutes straight of fighting, there were only 2 players left on the ice, one Utah State player and one Arizona State player.

Then Travis, Jared, Brooke and I left the game together. We went to another persons house and met new people and had lots of fun. Of course the night ended in Betos (:

Oh, I woke up with really bad bed head. It was so funny.

Sister Fun!

I was such an idiot today!! I completely slept through my Lehi Main Street meeting! I woke up at noon. Exactly when it ended with a text from Wade saying, "

Brooke is home!!! :) Yay! I love her!
When we picked her up from the airport I had a sign made for her.

On the way back from the airport we stopped at "The Haunted Circus".
My mom waited in the car while we went through.

Luckily we found an older couple to go ahead of us and three boys to follow behind us. So we were right in the middle.. Just the way I like it!
The spook alley was a little scary.. I screamed a lot.
The funniest moment was when a creepy guy asked what was for dinner and I said "Austin" (this little 12 year old kid). He wasn't very happy with me, but everyone laughed.
There were also some loud bangs. I knew they were coming, but after every bang I screamed. After everytime I screamed I said "Sorry!" "Sorry." "Sorry!" It was funny.
We are now watching Breaking Bad, one of the most intense shows ever. Its incredible.
Tomorrow we head to Logan! Yay!
