California.. Day 1

Well today was Day #1 of the trip. It was pretty great.

It started off with a better-than-nothing breakfast of muffins and juice. We met up with Tom (employee at Disney) who let us in for FREE and my dad's work friend Ryan (nicknamed Melinni for who-knows-why).
We fast passed the new 'Cars' ride and played in California Adventures for awhile. (Tower of Tower, California Screaming, Toy Story Mania (I beat my dad.. He wasn't very happy) and Soaring Over California).
Disneyland soon called our name--mine more than anyone elses'. I LOVE DISNEYLAND. We went on Star Tours, the Buzz Ride (I beat my dad AGAIN!), Pirates of the Caribbean, and then we actually stopped for food! (Kind of a big deal) And yeah, it was delicious. Thanks for asking

We had to rush the end of lunch a little bit to make it to the new ride. It was ok.. A lot over hyped I think. We got Dole floats (delicious Dole pineapple ice cream floating in pineapple juice. Its absolutely incredible. Dad kind of rolled his eyes about stopping, but ended up buying for all three of us! The night concluded with World of Color, an amazing light/water/movie/music. And it was my dad's Birthday. Happy Birthday to him. Falling asleep now. Nighty night.
