California Trip Day 1/2

Today was a busy, busy day.
My dad and I are going to California today! And we lot to do before we left.
We did about 3 worth of fliers for the Murdock Canal.
We took a deserved lunch at Wendys and then I (finally) mailed Richie's package.
Then came the worst part of my day.. Cleaning out my car. My car is named Carlos. This is for 3 reasons
1. Carlos is a baby in Hangover (my favorite movie) 2. Carlos is (was) kind of a beaner (Mexican) car and Carlos is kind of a beaner name. 3. Carlos. CAR-los. Get it?!?! :) 4. My best friend is named Charlie and supposedly Charlie and Carlos are alike in Spanish. (Supposedly. That one is kind of a stretch.) I was so sad to see my baby go. He blew a head gasket sometime in July and I was told it would be $1,000 to fix. He is worth maybe $1,200. So sad :( I cried when I found out he was broken beyond repair--or at least reasonably priced repair. He is being sold on Friday for $175 dollars. In my opinion, he is worth $1,000,000,000.

So now begins the search for a new car. I will be paying for it all myself, so I will be taking out a loan. Bleh. But I am really excited about it being all mine! It's a little conceited, but I want a really sporty, really cute, new, nice car. I want it to last a long time and be a car that I absolutely love. I am going to really take care of it and love it.

Currently sitting at the airport, blogging, and watching Netflix. Everyone else is watching the First Presidential Debate. Flying into LA tonight, going to Disneyland tomorrow! I can't wait!

Also, got my pilot pin on :)
Once we got to the hotel I was a little hungry (hadn't eaten anything but lunch) so my dad and I drove all the way around town looking for a place to eat. Its a big deal for him. It was a gesture that really meant a lot. We found a Dennys and it was so good. Totally hit the spot. I went to bed with a full tummy! "Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world." -Lucille Ball
