Another Salt Lake Night!

Deja Vu! It feels like I was just in Salt Lake.. Because I was!

For the second night in a row, Brooke and I made the trip up to Salt Lake. (Salt Lake is kind of awesome) This time to go to a play with William and Belinda.

Salt Lake Date

Tonight was so much fun!

Brooke, Trent, and I drove up to Salt Lake to meet Zach and two of his friends.

At first it was a little awkward while we got to know each other, but soon we were talking and laughing together. Sam and Paige were Zach's friends. They were a really cute couple. I liked them a lot.

We all met up at City Creek and then took the trax over to the Gateway and had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. All of us were starving so it was soo good. Zach and Trentie were such gentlemen and paid for dinner!

An End to the Weekend

Friday was full of fun.
Saturday and Sunday were pretty good as well. (:

Saturday morning my Grandma drove to Orem to see my little brother play basketball.
My little's brother CREAMED the other team. The final score was like 68-11 or something.

After the game we went shopping. It was a big success for me... A little too big of a success. I spent a lot of money. Money I am trying to save.
Oh well. The GOLD SKINNY JEANS (yeah, you read that right) were totally worth it. I bought a scarf, and some cute cardigans (always useful). So yeah, it was a success.

After we got home I took my puppy on a walk, then watched Spiderman with my dad.
Mid-movie my mom called, telling me to come over to a neighbours house to hold a baby. (I love babies!) This was a black baby, and one of the cutest I've ever seen!

Later that night we lit lanterns in the sky in memory of a little boy named Jett, born with a rare brain disease. His birthday is today. It was a really cool idea.

I have so many exciting things ahead of me! I can't wait. Buying a car, finding a place to live (going up to Logan on Thursday), packing, Christmas, maybe seeing Richie, New Year's, and then going back to school!

Just Another Saturday

It was just another Saturday.
The Saturday before my 20th Birthday!

I spent the day with Jorge, Dann, Ryan and Nathan. We ate at Cafe Rio then watched Taken 2 at Pinnacle, where Ryan works. Then we played a bit of basketball and I came home.

Mom wanted me to go to Shiray's husbands Birthday party, so, being the awesome daughter I am, I went with her. My cute little friend Shayli and I played Play Dough and made door-hangers for each other. She is so cute!

Ely came over and my mom left. There was a knock on the door later and I opened the door to find my sister in a suitcase! Best surprise ever!

The three of us went to Starbucks, then built card houses and went to Walmart. I bought sweats just like Ely's. Soo comfortable.

Of course the night ended with late-night McDonalds.

First Dates

First dates are.. Well awkward.
But so great.

I had a first date with a boy named Alex. Alex Kirkman. He is going to Utah State in the fall. He's fresh off his mission.
Originally, I wasn't going to be able to go on the date because I was going to be gone, but I guess there was an upside to the trip being canceled. A very, very, very, small upside.. Butttt it is an upside.

I got ready for the night. Took my time, curled my hair, listened to music, tried on five different outfits.. You know, girl stuff.

He picked me up like a gentleman. We picked up a girl and the four of us went to eat at Pizza Pie Café.

They all said prayers on their food, which was a little weird haha. But it was fun. They were a little unique, but fun.
After dinner we went to a fireside/dance at UVU. A guy named Brad Wilcox spoke. He was pretty good... Talked about dating and everything. Then, instead of staying for the dance we played Apples to Apples, pretty much all night. Our group just kept getting bigger and bigger. They weren't the usual crowd i hang out with, but they were really nice.

The best part of the night was when Alex dropped me off, he came in the backyard to meet my dog. My amazing, perfect wonderful dog.
Danny was there waiting with snowballs and we had a huge snowball fight and it was so much fun. Alex thought it was funny.

Danny and i played rock band and Just Dance. Then, mom and dad came home..
That ended the week alone.
