First Dates

First dates are.. Well awkward.
But so great.

I had a first date with a boy named Alex. Alex Kirkman. He is going to Utah State in the fall. He's fresh off his mission.
Originally, I wasn't going to be able to go on the date because I was going to be gone, but I guess there was an upside to the trip being canceled. A very, very, very, small upside.. Butttt it is an upside.

I got ready for the night. Took my time, curled my hair, listened to music, tried on five different outfits.. You know, girl stuff.

He picked me up like a gentleman. We picked up a girl and the four of us went to eat at Pizza Pie Café.

They all said prayers on their food, which was a little weird haha. But it was fun. They were a little unique, but fun.
After dinner we went to a fireside/dance at UVU. A guy named Brad Wilcox spoke. He was pretty good... Talked about dating and everything. Then, instead of staying for the dance we played Apples to Apples, pretty much all night. Our group just kept getting bigger and bigger. They weren't the usual crowd i hang out with, but they were really nice.

The best part of the night was when Alex dropped me off, he came in the backyard to meet my dog. My amazing, perfect wonderful dog.
Danny was there waiting with snowballs and we had a huge snowball fight and it was so much fun. Alex thought it was funny.

Danny and i played rock band and Just Dance. Then, mom and dad came home..
That ended the week alone.
