MEXICO

I've always like pictures more than words... Here are pictures from the trip!

Mexico. Wow. Where do I even start?!
Mexico was amazing. I love Mexico.
The drive down was really long, but it was so worth it once we got there.

Just Another Saturday

It was just another Saturday.
The Saturday before my 20th Birthday!

I spent the day with Jorge, Dann, Ryan and Nathan. We ate at Cafe Rio then watched Taken 2 at Pinnacle, where Ryan works. Then we played a bit of basketball and I came home.

Mom wanted me to go to Shiray's husbands Birthday party, so, being the awesome daughter I am, I went with her. My cute little friend Shayli and I played Play Dough and made door-hangers for each other. She is so cute!

Ely came over and my mom left. There was a knock on the door later and I opened the door to find my sister in a suitcase! Best surprise ever!

The three of us went to Starbucks, then built card houses and went to Walmart. I bought sweats just like Ely's. Soo comfortable.

Of course the night ended with late-night McDonalds.

First Dates

First dates are.. Well awkward.
But so great.

I had a first date with a boy named Alex. Alex Kirkman. He is going to Utah State in the fall. He's fresh off his mission.
Originally, I wasn't going to be able to go on the date because I was going to be gone, but I guess there was an upside to the trip being canceled. A very, very, very, small upside.. Butttt it is an upside.

I got ready for the night. Took my time, curled my hair, listened to music, tried on five different outfits.. You know, girl stuff.

He picked me up like a gentleman. We picked up a girl and the four of us went to eat at Pizza Pie Café.

They all said prayers on their food, which was a little weird haha. But it was fun. They were a little unique, but fun.
After dinner we went to a fireside/dance at UVU. A guy named Brad Wilcox spoke. He was pretty good... Talked about dating and everything. Then, instead of staying for the dance we played Apples to Apples, pretty much all night. Our group just kept getting bigger and bigger. They weren't the usual crowd i hang out with, but they were really nice.

The best part of the night was when Alex dropped me off, he came in the backyard to meet my dog. My amazing, perfect wonderful dog.
Danny was there waiting with snowballs and we had a huge snowball fight and it was so much fun. Alex thought it was funny.

Danny and i played rock band and Just Dance. Then, mom and dad came home..
That ended the week alone.

One Week

Since I was supposed to be on an East Coast trip, my parents were gone and Danny and Nikki were with friends. But Danny came back from the Henriksens to hang out with me.

We had a blast.

We went to Zupas, watched movies and TV. I made Danny a lunch every day with a cute note.
One night my friend Spencer came to pick me up and we drove around. It was really nice. We did 360's by the lake and talked.
Another night my friend Aaron came down from Salt Lake. We ordered pizza and spent time, all three of us together. It was great.
The last night Danny and I went to the store and we each got a bottle of sparking cider and watched Inception.
It was so good having my puppy in the house. He slept with me every night and kept me company.
Danny I spent so much time listening to music and hanging out.
I love my little brother!

Weekends Spent in Logan are My Favorite Weekends :)

Yeah, this weekend was awesome.

Exhausting.
Fun.
Amazing.
Busy.
Random.
Wonderful.
Spontaneous.

Just a few words to describe my weekend.
Yeah, it was good.
I got to Logan on Thursday. Brooke and I made some delicious snacks.
We brought some to Jared and talked to him for a bit.

Friday Jamie and I met up and hung out. :) We went to Jared's and the three of us caught up before the hockey game. After the hockey game Jamie went home and we all went to Sunny's.

Saturday I spent the day doing service. After that we ran into Josh, a Delta Sig pledge who invited us to a party. At Fry's. Where Nate and I first got together... I was a little nervous to run into him, but he wasn't there. It was fun. I knew quite a few people there. Just as we got there Jared texted me they were going to a few houses and asked if we wanted to come. Of course the answer was yes. Josh said he wanted a ride home so he came back with us.. We were talking as we got in the car and you went believe what happened.. I closed the car door... On his head. I felt so bad!!
We party hopped to a couple houses and I ran into someone from service. The irony..

Sunday we had breakfast at McDonald's. Then it was football and more football. Brooke and I went back to the LLC and made some cream puffs for dinner with Jared and Travis. After food and football Jared and I watched some Breaking Bad. He laid his head in my lap and I played with his hair. We watched the finale with Brock and it was intense!

Monday morning came sooo early. I caught the shuttle at 5:30 am. Yuck. It was a long journey home. Switching shuttles, waiting.. But I got home, no East Coast for me :(

Luckily I had an awesome weekend in Logan to make up for it.
