Well so far Sunday has been an interesting day.
(Sundays aren't really my favorite day)
Our friend, Nik, had his farewell talk. He goes to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) on Wednesday, then after a few weeks he will go to Chicago, where he will serve a mission for the Church of Latter Day Saints. He was pretty nervous for his talk, but he did a really good job.
I found a friend (a little girl named Shayli) to play hangman with me. She was so cute. She drew me a couple pictures after hangman which I am going to attach :)
I had a meeting with my Family Home Evening Committee and I was the only one who showed up. I planned a few activities and when I was leaving I ran into a boy named Cory.
This is funny. So he sees me coming down the hall and says "It is you!"...I didn't recognize him at all. Then he said, "The Silly String Party.. Remember?" That was when I knew exactly who he was.
The Silly String party was about two years ago. I met a boy named Kelton there who was really cute. We hit it off pretty well. We danced and had lots of fun. He got my number and a couple days later he came over... With a friend. Named Cory. (I think you know where this is going..)
So when I saw him today he said, "I came over to your house and played rock band with your sister and brother. You also have the coolest mom ever!" It was so funny! He's a cutie.
Now Brooke and I are being naughty. We are watching Netflix and ditching church to watch Breaking Bad in the car. We are awesome. :)
I have to take her back to Salt Lake today and I don't really want too. Brooke and I are the best of friends.
Oops! Almost forgot my quote!
Here it is: "To LIVE is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." -Oscar Wilde
